Kuwait: Two children die in house fire after getting stuck in elevator

Dubai: Two Kuwaiti children died and three others were injured after they got stuck in an elevator inside their home, which caught fire, Al Seyassah newspaper reported. According to a security source, police officers and firefighting teams from Umm Al Hayman and Mina Abdullah fire stations rushed to the scene after receiving reports about the raging house fire. They managed to rescue five children and their mother. They were all rushed to the hospital. Two children who got stuck in the elevator died as the fire devoured the house from the inside. Kuwait Police launched immediate investigation into the incident to determine the circumstances that could have led to the start of the fire.
