Ariel Nelson wanted to honor his late mother Eva, a woman who escaped Nazi Germany, came to the United States, and became a teacher who introduced many of her students to the horrors of the Holocaust. After she died last June, he found a scrapbook filled with letters from previous students thanking her for the impact she had in educating them about anti-Semitism.
