Antti Kurvinen, the head of the Centre Parliamentary Group, on Thursday said the Parliament as the supreme state body must have the opportunity to gauge confidence in the government as it relates to the recent racism controversy.
The Finns Party is urging the Centre to reconsider its refusal to govern, possibly concerned about losing some of the support it won in rural regions. The Centre is urging the Finns Party to show what it is made of in the government, possibly hoping to chip away at its popularity from the opposition.
