However, when the weather turns warm, what we really crave is the local outdoor drive-up with the extra creamy soft-serve, or the little hole-in-the-wall with the creative flavors and colorful waffle cones. The kinds of places we drive past all winter, yearning for the arrival of spring, and with it the signs announcing the beginning of ice cream season.
