My name is linda, and we are delighted to have you participate in the tenth annual savannah be book festival presented by Georgia Power and the Sheehan Family foundation. We are blessed to host such celebrated authors in the Trinity United Methodist church today which has been made possible by the generous generosity of kurt and linda anderson. Wed like to extend a special thanks to our literatety members and individual donors who have made and continue to make Saturdays Free festival events possible. Before we get started, theres always housekeeping. Immediately following the presentation, Terry Mcdonnell will be signing festivalpurchased copies of his book in the square. Gerald R. and Audrie Packer, of Beech Creek, celebrated their 70th anniversary on March 31.
They met while Audrie was attending Lock Haven Teachers College. She was from the Pittsburgh area and met Gerald while living with her aunt and uncle in Orviston.
They had two sons, Kurt (Linda) and Gerald (Geep) who is deceased. They have four grandsons Clark, Jeff, Karl and Jack, and also three great-grandchildren in Indiana.
The couple plans to celebrate quietly at home.
