The humanitarian cargo was shipped to Russia’s flood-affected regions on behalf of the head of state. The work to collect the cargo was based on the relevant resolution of the Council of Ministers.
In line with the Council of Ministers’ Resolution No. 360 as of 22 May,
Belarus will provide humanitarian aid to Russia’s Orenburg Oblast and
Kurgan Oblast that were affected by devastating floods.
The operation of the Orsk refinery has been suspended due to flooding after a second dam burst in the Russian city of Orsk, with water already approaching another major city, Orenburg.
