Bollywood actors urge fans to stay home as Cyclone Tauktae approaches Mumbai coast
With cyclone Tauktae advancing over Mumbai, several Bollywood celebrities urged their fans to stay indoors and remain safe. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned that the cyclone is expected, and it has already reached Mumbai. IMD has issued an orange alert for Mumbai, warning of very heavy rains at isolated places with strong winds on Monday. On the same, B-town stars took to their social media and prayed for city s well being.
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan shared a tweet that read, The effects of the #CycloneTauktae have begun .. rains in Mumbai .. please be safe and protected .. prayers as ever.

As Mumbai braces for Cyclone Tauktae, several Bollywood celebrities took to their social media handles to request their fans to stay indoors and protected.
The powerful cyclone heading towards Mumbai coast, which has already killed six people in parts of southern India, was expected to make landfall on Monday evening in Gujarat state with winds of up to 175 kilometers (109 miles) per hour, according to the India Meteorological Department.
