The investigation into the massive scam of making fake websites of religious places has blown the lid off a racket of selling pre-activated sim cards to fraudsters operating from Haryana’s Mewat. The cybercrime unit of Devbhumi Dwarka district arrested six people involved in the dummy sim cards racket. The sim cards were used in making fake websites of tourist places, hotels, guest houses, sextortion, and cheating people through e-commerce websites.
