A Palamu tiger reserve team under the Bareysanr range led by forest guard Paramjeet Tiwary seized 40 slippers and 30 door frames at Durup village early morning today.

Palamu Tiger Reserve (PTR) plans to add 400 hectares of grassland to accommodate herbivores in their jurisdiction. The grasslands will be created using locally available grass seeds.
A seven-feet python weighing 12kg was rescued and released in PTR forest Daltonganj. The python, which had swallowed chicks and goats, was captured from the backyard of the Bareysarn range office. The villagers were agitated due to the reptile's activities. The deputy director of PTR advises people to inform the forest patrol team instead of harming pythons.
