The chairperson of the Johannesburg Property Company has been fired for failure to implement the recommendations of an SIU report which found that senior managers of the entity were implicated in financial misconduct.
The City of Johannesburg has removed the chairperson of the Joburg Property Company (JPC) following his alleged failure to address a damning Special Investigating Unit (SIU) report. MMC for Economic Development Nkululeko Mbundu said the City had agreed to "effect urgent and important changes to the board of directors" at the JPC.
