KTS 2.0, the second edition of Kashi Tamil Sangamam, has received 30,000 registrations from Tamil Nadu. Only 1,500 participants will be selected for the cultural extravaganza starting on December 17.
Around 1,400 delegates from Tamil Nadu and Puducherry are expected to attend the second edition of Kashi Tamil Sangamam. The delegates will travel to Varanasi, Prayagraj, and Ayodhya for an 8-day immersive tour. The programme will focus on awareness generation, outreach, people-to-people connect, and cultural immersion. Various ministries and departments, along with IIT Madras and Banaras Hindu University, will be involved in the programme. Stalls exhibiting art, culture, and special products of Tamil Nadu and Kashi will be set up, and academic exchanges on various facets of knowledge will take place. Over 2,500 people from Tamil Nadu attended the first edition of KTS last year.
