Liverpool have been told by former midfielder Didi Hamann that Bayern Munich star Kingsley Coman is the best winger in football and would make an ideal replacement for Mohamed Salah. Salah has been linked with a move to Barcelona or Real Madrid, but there is no reason to believe that he would want to leave Anfield any time soon or that he is unhappy on Merseyside.

As reported by Italy watcher Robin Meise on German website Ligainsider.de, two Serie A clubs have expressed early interest in Hertha BSC striker Krzysztof Piatek.

The precipitous decline in the market value of 25-year-old Polish striker Krzysztof over the past year quickly rendered him a top transfer candidate on the pre-window lists of many. One German website reports that a pair of Italian clubs have initiated preliminary negotiations to bring the attacker back to the land were he earned the moniker Il Pistolero .
Ligurian daily Citta della Spezia reports that Genoa C.F.C., which initially brought Piatek to Italy from Poland, are in negotiations to require their once prolific scorer. Gazetto dello Sport also notes that Piatek is a topic at AC Fiorentina.
