The folks at Let’s Minocqua Visitor Bureau & Chamber of Commerce want to know when’s the last time you were at drive-in theater? If it’s been a while, maybe you might want to go to a “Dive-In.”
What’s a Dive-In? Picture a 23-foot tall movie screen on shore of a lake, with the audience watching from inner tubes and boats. That’s what the chamber wants to bring to Minocqua later this summer.
Chamber executive director Krystal Westphal got permission from the Minocqua town board Tuesday to hold the unique outdoor movie event next Aug. 14 at Torpy Park in downtown Minocqua.
