attack in processes. special agent krystal griner was shot in the ankle and airlifted to the hospital. another agent on detail, david bailey, he was also injured. initial report suggests he may have been hit with shrapnel while pursuing and engaging in the gun fight with this suspect. the third special agent in that detail has also been named, special agent henry cabrera, thankfully we can report he was not injured even though two of the other three members of that team were. another republican congressman whose staffer was shot in the leg, congressman roger williams, he was also hurt in this incident today, taken away on a stretcher at one point. i should tell you congressman williams was not shot. his injury was he either apparently broke his ankle or

ones we have at least to update you on their conditions. steve scalise, he s listed in stable condition the majority whip. he has undergone surgery, the surgery we re told has now been completed at the washington hospital center. also, matt mika, director of government relations for tyson foods, senator flake told us mika practices with the team. flake said he seemed to be the most seriously injured being treated over at george washington university hospital. listed in critical condition. also zack barth, an aide to congressman roger williams. he was injured according to a statement from the lawmaker. we don t know which lopt, where he s being treated. the two police officers who were injured krystal griner and david bailey. speaker ryan named them from the house floor just a little while ago. according to authorities, they re also being treated at a local hospital. their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. that s the five individuals who
first lady arrived at the hospital, they met with some of the doctors treating congressman scalise and officer krystal griner. they also spoke with some of the fellow officers who were there to see krystal griner, according to a senior official. although that s not an official condition coming from the hospital. just a general assessment that she seems to be doing okay. at that point, the president and first lady then made their way towards congressman scalise but they did not meet with the congressman because his condition is so severe. however, they did meet with the congressman s wife. and according to this pool report coming from the white house the mood in the room, the mood in that area was quite somber. so getting to what sanjay was saying earlier, don, it does appear to be a very serious situation for congressman scalise. you would think that if he was doing okay or well enough to be greeted by the president of the united states, who went through
