Rajkot: Office-bearers of an education trust in Devbhumi Dwarka were booked under the land-grabbing law for not vacating the property of another trust even after their agreement period ended.
Baldev Varotariya, president of Variya Trust that owns the property lodged a complaint against Aarti Pandit, Krupa Jani, Ram Gadhvi, Sajan Gadhvi and Nilesh Mer at Bhanvad police station on Tuesday.
He alleged that the 10-year agreement between the accused’s Ashadeep Education Trust and Variya Trust for using the latter’s building ended on May 31 last year. The owning trust had informed in advance that they would not like to renew the agreement, but Pandit or the other accused did not give any reply.
