The ice cream shop and food stand, which opened for the season April 5, announced the closure to Facebook. The owners say it s a sad decision .
Dairy Treat s last day in business will be this Saturday, May 22.
In pictures online, it appears the ice cream shop, which is close to Roger s Plaza, was possibly once free-standing.
Currently Dairy Treat, sometimes referred to as Brigg s Dairy Treat online, is part of the 28th Street Mobil Plaza, along with a Subway.
I wasn t able to find a menu, but it appears Dairy Treat serves up hot dogs, soft pretzels, sundaes, dole whip, flurries, ice cream, and other frozen treats and I ve seen a lot of comments about the chili dogs!
