Nova 93.7’s direct team leader, Simon Mikulich, has left the Perth radio station after over 12 years.
Mikulich joined Nova in Perth in 2009 from Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) as an agency client executive. He then rose through the ranks to acting agency sales manager, key client manager, and then direct team leader in March last year.
In 2017, he won the Australian Commercial Radio Award (ACRA) for Best Agency Salesperson.
Mikulich announced his departure on LinkedIn, revealing it was time to say farewell.
“What a ride,” he added. “Thank you to the staff and my incredible clients – I’ll be watching you grow in the years ahead.”
UnLtd’s first annual Perth Open raises $45k

Social purpose organisation UnLtd’s charity golf competition Perth Open has raised $45,000.

UnLtd’s inaugural Perth Open golf tournament has exceeded expectations, bringing the industry together for the first time since lockdown to raise $45,000 and seeing 6iX take home the winning trophy.
Nineteen teams from across the industry putted for a great cause at the Wembley golf course on Friday, May 14th.
The event was sponsored by Verizon Media and saw mixed teams of four compete over 18 holes. Golfers were treated to a number of fun activations along the course from ice cream carts to Aperol Spritz and Pimms bars.
UnLtd announces new general manager and board of directors in WA

UntLtd has appointed Kristy Mansfield as general manager Western Australia, and Simone Woodward and Jim Groves as directors of the Board.
The announcement:
Kristy Mansfield has been appointed as the General Manager WA for our industry’s social purpose organisation UnLtd.
Mansfield joins UnLtd from Southern Cross Austereo where she has been heading up the Agency Sales team for the last eight years.
UnLtd’s current General Manager WA Carol Morris will be moving into a Board role and will be joined by two new Directors of the Board – Simone Woodward, Manager of Marketing & Communications at RAC and Jim Groves, Managing Director Perth at Carat.
