took 45 minutes to get from falls road. took me 45 minutes to get from towson. usually it takes half hour. there was an accident. reporter: those who planned ahead and took alternate routes found themselves creeping along. others faired a little better am. i came down park heights. and it was slow. but the first part of the ride was actually okay. i came in a little early, though, about 7:00. the problems all stem from crushed pipes underneath the north and south jfx. the city considers repairs urgent to avoid a dangerous sinkhole. but those will leave the left lanes closed for nearly two months. i think a bit of an overkill. i think they should be working 24/7 and get it done quicker. reporter: but for now, most are having hands full trying to figure out how to make the commute better. either leave early or stay late. there s no use complaining because nothing can be done. our live coverage continues with kristy breslin at wjz traffic control. did people
