The North Wilkesboro commissioners unanimously voted Nov. 30 to continue reinvesting money earned in the town’s 30-year lease of Wilkes Medical Center to Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist.
Local municipal elections culminated Tuesday with newcomer Kristopher Hurley and incumbents Andrew Palmer and Michael Parsons winning the three North Wilkesboro commissioner seats on the ballot.
