A team of biologists worked to catch and tag the rare rosy finch species living in harsh alpine environments, Thursday, in an effort to understand why populations are declining.
Rosy-finches are unique birds that live high in the snowy mountains of the western United States. Researchers are tracking these birds to understand how their populations are faring in the face of climate change, and how to protect rosy-finches in the future.

On Monday, bars and restaurants in Kentucky were allowed to open back up to 50% capacity for indoor dining.
This re-opening of bars and restaurants comes just short of a month since Gov. Andy Beshear closed indoor dining due to the increasing number of COVID-19 cases.
The curfew for both restaurants and bars to stop serving at 11 p.m. will stay in effect until further notice.
The many openings, closings, and changing of restrictions have been a whirlwind for restaurants and bars as well as the customers who frequent them.
