opinion piece in the washington post, capitol hill has a sexual harassment problem. kristin nicholson joins me. with a welcome you to, you and your coauthor also wrote a letter to senate and house leaders. tell us about that first. thanks for having me. we sent a letter signed by over 1,500 of our staffers to the leaders of the committees that have jurisdiction over these internal issues asking for some reforms to the current system for reporting problematic behavior and making sexual harassment claims and also asking for training on sexual harassment prevention to be mandatory for all staff and members. we re thrilled to see that at least one of those steps is being taken. we hope there s more reforms to come. the letter itself shows the significance of the problem and also the significance of the support out there among former staff to see some changes
