Wednesday, December 9, 2020 - A recently published report by the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism examines trust in news from the perspective of journalists from various parts of the world. We visit with report co-author Benjamin Toff, an assistant professor at the University of Minnesota. ~~~ The new Northern Rose sculpture in Grand Forks has inspired an effort to raise money for more public art. The Northern Rose is a 150-ton granite artwork by Zoran Mojsilov, Serbian immigrant, and Minnesota resident. Several musicians with connections to Grand Forks have produced versions of The Rose by Bette Midler. The result is a compilation on vinyl called The Prairie Dozen.” The limited edition album is available with a qualifying donation to support the Public Arts Commission. We visit with Kristi Wilfahrt, executive director of the Public Arts Commission.
