VINCENNES, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) Vincennes University is getting ready to host its first university-wide day of giving. Blazers Give Day will take place on April 8.
The 24-hour fundraising effort will help support hundreds of scholarships and funding for student academic programs and university activities. Students will share messages of how they benefit from the support of donors. VU officials say it s a day to show gratitude to the university community.
Kristi Deetz, executive director of the VU Foundation, said, A lot of individuals have been submitting their stories and what their experience with Vincennes University meant to them and their futures, so to be able to share those types of stories with our entire audience and all of our constituents, we re very excited about that.
