Possible intentional explosion. Surveillance video of the brooklyn blast is perhaps the first big clue this wasnt a typical explosion. The video shows a simultaneous blast and fire ball blowing out the second floor of an apartment. Compare that to the deadly gas leak explosion in the east village last march where theres a huge blast but initially no fire ball. Minutes later a gasfilled building is a burning inferno. In saturdays blast theres the initial fire ball but few flames afterward. Investigators now believe thats because there was probably no gas leak to feed a fire. The investigation now focuses on intentional setting off of the explosion. Debris is being tested for any chemicals that may have been used as an accelerant. All possibilities are being looked at. There is now renewed interest in the financial debt, which we are told was considerable.
