BRISTOL — Elkhart Civic Theatre’s production of “[title of show]” opens Friday and continues through pril 18 at the Bristol Opera House, 210 E. Vistula St. Written by Jeff Bowen and Hunter Bell, “[title of show]” chronicles their experiences in writing a musical in three weeks as their entry in the New York Musical Theatre Festival competition in 2004. They recruit their friends Susan, Heidi and Larry as their cast and set out to write about “what to write about.” In the span of 90 minutes, they write and perform their show at the festival — and learn lessons about themselves as people, friends and artists.
