Migrant girls facility in quiet west El Paso neighborhood to open soon
EL PASO, Texas Nestled inside a quiet westside El Paso neighborhood, you ll find a Alzheimer s facility transformed into a facility for migrant girls. The facility, called Casa Mariposa, is empty now, but is expected to being receiving girls sometime this month, according to Krista Piferrer of the non-profit operator BCFS Health and Human Services.
Once girls arrive at the facility, Piferrer said they will not leave until they are connected to their sponsor. Girls will sleep, eat and learn here. There are a total of 104 beds, 2 classrooms, lounge and outdoor areas and a medical facility.
