Mrs. Myrtle Lois Gardner, age 95 years, passed away peacefully with her family by her side in St. Joseph's Hospital on Thursday, October 7, 2021. Myrtle was born in Webb, Saskatchewan on March 7, 1926.

CHAMPION After having to cancel the 2020 graduation ceremony because of the coronavirus pandemic and other conflicts, Trumbull Career and Technical Center officials have found a way to make sure this year’s senior class has one.
Mary Flint, director of the TCTC, said they have worked out arrangements to hold the ceremony 7:30 p.m. May 17 at Eastwood Field in Niles, home of the Mahoning Valley Scrappers.
“We felt really bad last year when we were not able to do the event for the seniors. All the schools were facing challenges on how to hold graduations. This year we have found a new venue for the event. We are very excited to be able to do this,” Flint said.
