Maidstone United booked their place in the next round of the FA Trophy after they were given a stiff test by Southern Premier League side Poole Town.
Both sides created chances early on. With four minutes gone, Justin Amaluzor played the ball out to Joan Luque who was in the area. Just as Luque tried to return the ball to Amaluzor, who was in a good position inside the six yard box, Jake Smeedon arrived to make an excellent challenge and whisk the ball off Amaulzor’s toes.
