Two-year sentence for accessory to murder charge

Article content A 21-year-old man received the equivalent of a two-year sentence on Thursday after admitting to being an accessory to murder in the death of Earl Francis Dufour. Isaiah James Dustyhorn appeared at Regina Court of Queen’s Bench on Thursday morning where he pleaded guilty to the single charge. After hearing submissions on sentence, Justice Catherine Dawson agreed to impose the jointly recommended sentence of two years less remand credit. Regina Police asking for information after shooting incident in city s West End | 620 CKRM The Source

By Josh Sigurdson Regina Police are investigating a firearms offence which occurred early Wednesday morning. At approximately 9:00 am, Police were dispatched to the 00 block of Krauss Street, near McCarthy Blvd, for a report of a house and vehicle that were shot at. Police believe the incident occurred shortly before 3:00 a.m. No one was injured in the incident.
