It reminded me of the Zongo mortuary promise. As if it was not bad enough such crass initiative found itself in our manifesto, the campaign somehow thought the more they discussed it as a request by moslems, it will make it credible and change the sorry image of lack of vision and ideas. So they kept at it. They got imams to defend it during rallies, agents discussed and defended it on radio and on tv! The flag bearer actually discussed and defended it on national television! They were too blind to notice they looked more sorry each time they defended this Zongo Mortuary promise! They looked and sounded like idiots, yet they kept at it!
