Liberty field hockey s Jill Bolton, Daniella Rhodes and Charlotte Vaanhold were each recognized on the Preseason All-BIG EAST team, announced on Thursday afternoon by the league office. Bolton also was named Preseason BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Year. I m extremely happy for our athletes today. The Lady Flames were voted to finish second in the preseason coaches poll. Liberty has now been selected to finish second in the BIG EAST five straight years. The Lady Flames received two first-place votes and 32 points in the poll. This is the first time in program history that Liberty will compete in a spring season after the fall season was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
