About District. Sironko, which was created in 2000, had been part of Mbale District. It has 42 sub-counties; 21 in Budadiri East and 21 in Budadiri West. FDC’s victory is a replica of its performance in 2011 elections when the party won all the parliamentary, the district chairperson and majority seats in the district council.
