Narco has been Indicted for Murder
SAN ANGELO, TX – Mauricio “Narco” Portillo was indicted by a Tom Green County grand jury in May for murder, tampering with or fabricating physical evidence with the intention to impair the investigation.
On February 25th, 2021, at the Resort at Riverside, located at 3306 North Bryant Blvd. in San Angelo, a drug deal for marijuana went south.
Several people were inside the apartment when the shooting happened.
The incident occured in apartment #503. The victim, Rey Robles, had been shot in the head in the kitchen of the apartment.
When interviewing the individuals who were in the apartment when the incident occured, Sierra Camarillo claimed she shot Robles because he was striking Nathaniel Gonzalez in the head with a firearm. Camarillo stated that she picked up the gun after Robles dropped it and shot him to defend Gonzalez. She said she shot him more than once.
San Angelo Woman Takes Plea Deal in Murder Over Weed
SAN ANGELO, TX – The first suspect in the murder of a San Angelo man was given six years probation in court on Monday.
According to court documents, Sierra Camarillo, 22, pleaded guilty to tampering with evidence that will give her six years probation.
As previously reported, on Feb. 25, officers with the San Angelo Police Department were dispatched to the Resort at Riverside Apartments, 3302 N Bryant Blvd, for the report of a murder.
When the officers arrived they found a man who was dead, lying face down, in the kitchen area of the apartment.

SAN ANGELO, TX – More details regarding Thursday night s murder has been revealed.
According to court documents, on Feb. 25, officers with the San Angelo Police Department were dispatched to the Resort at Riverside Apartments, 3302 N Bryant Blvd, for the report of a murder.
When the officers arrived they found a man who was dead, lying face down, in the kitchen area of the apartment.
Also in the apartment were Kortnee Leal, Grace Sanchez, Nathaniel Gonzales, and Sierra Camarilo.
Officers first spoke with Camarillo.
She told officers that she had shot the man, identified as Rey Robles Jr. She claimed she killed him in an act of self defense after Robles allegedly attacked Nathaniel Gonzales.
