BLACKPINK and ITZY s Debut Songs Have Hit 100 Million Streams On Spotify
Both ITZY and BLACKPINK have had their debut songs hit 100 million streams on Spotify! BLACKPINK notably debuted with two title tracks, and both songs have surpassed 100 million streams.
Between the two, BOOMBAYAH is the most-streamed debut song with 271,307,604 streams on Spotify (as of May 25).
BLACKPINK s other debut song, WHISTLE, has 194,725,517 streams on Spotify as of May 25. It is so close to hitting 195 million streams!
Overall, BLACKPINK s debut single album SQUARE ONE, which contains both these tracks, has been streamed 466,033,121 times.

Reports revealed that IU just joined BTS and Suga as the only few K-pop idols to have multiple songs that surpassed the 100 million stream mark on Spotify. According to the website, the songstress has generated more than 5.8 million monthly listeners already.
Among the most-listened tracks by IU on Spotify are eight, a collaboration song she did with BTS member Suga, with more than 135 million streams and BBIBBI with more than 100 million streams. On May 7 KST, it was reported by media outlets that according to Gaon Chart, ENHYPEN s BORDER: CARNIVAL, which was recently released on April 26, ranked first on their monthly album chart in April - after only five days of sales on May 1.
In addition, BORDER: CARNIVAL also topped the weekly album chart on the 18th week of 2021 (April 25 to May 1).
The total albums sales for BORDER: CARNIVAL until April 30 was more than 520,000 album copies, making it the highest and best-selling album from January until the end of April among all the male groups and singers who released an album this year.
