According to an inquiry led by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission on Tuesday 11 May, a total of KRW9.4 billion was misused at 10 national universities last year.
The funds were intended to cover student guidance programmes such as counselling and safety activities carried out by professors and staff during lunch hours, after work or on weekends. More than 50 people staged a sit-in as trucks approached the former golf course that’s home to a U.S.-built and operated Terminal High Altitude Area Defense system, or THAAD, about 190 miles south of Seoul in Seongju, The Joongang Ilbo, an English-language newspaper, reported. The 4th Air Defense Artillery Regiment assumed the THAAD mission there in October after it was realigned with the 35th Air Defense Artillery Brigade in South Korea.

After the first lineup was announced, fans took to Twitter to share their excitement and also wonder if some of their faves will be included later in the lineup. A user shared a snippet of 2018âs KBS Song Festivalâs chaotic BTS clip with the caption, âooh @BTS twt are in the lineup for KBS Gayo Daechukjae. Booked and busy as usual. (Also kim yeonja is performing as well, which reminds me of this famous amor fati encore stage).â
Another said, âJackson and Jessie collaboration! I also noticed that #GOT7 is not included in the lineup @MyloveKBS???! So the other groups are going to have their mini-concert on KBS gayo again? This whole comeback the lack of promo and this treatment even the KBS thing, reminds me of 2017.â An ATEEZ fan posted, âKbs gayo Festival already announced first lineup. I hope ateez will be there too. But if they didn t, it s alright. We have immortal songs this Saturday.â
