Korean Industrial Standard Enacted for OLED Display Speaker

SEOUL, Dec. 16 (Korea Bizwire) South Korea has created a national standard for a sound-making OLED display speaker.
The Korea Agency for Technology and Standards (KATS) announced that it listed two types of sound performance measuring methods for the display speaker that can be used for TVs and smartphones, as a Korean Industrial Standard (KS), adding that it will promote their international standardization.
A display speaker refers to a display that generates sound itself without a separate speaker. The display speaker replaces the role that the vibrator of regular speaker plays.
