Podcast traces Korea s anarchist history
The Korea File podcast examines the beginnings of anarchism in Korea in its 98th and latest episode. The host, Canadian former expat Andre Goulet, invites journalist and filmmaker Abdul Malik to explore the mostly forgotten history of this Korean ideological movement.
In the mid-1920s, groups like the Daegu League of Truth and Fraternity, the Changwon Black Friend League and the Jeju Island Mutual Aid group began to rise, reaching a peak later in the decade.
