(WIS) - A deputy is fighting for his life in the hospital after a crash in Richland County on Thursday morning, officials said. It was a single-car crash near Koon Road in Irmo. Crews rushed Sgt. Michael Mazerolle to the hospital, where he is in serious condition. Officials have not said what caused the crash. Sgt. Mazerolle has served with RCSD for 20 years.
