Civil groups in Nagaland have given the government a 10-day extension to a December ultimatum as they battle for justice for 14 civilians killed during a botched Army op in the northeastern state.
Indian security forces are drawing scrutiny after killing 14 civilians in what the Indian Army said were incidents where soldiers were responding to "credible intelligence." The army said that it would be investigating the incident and hold individuals accountable as per the court of the law.
