Several colleges in Kolkata have made professor attendance mandatory to prepare for upcoming online examinations. The attendance has been made mandatory either on all working days or few days a week for the preparations including practical classes and for meetings related to the academic workings of the college.
The odd semester exams are expected to begin in the second week of March in most colleges in the state. While speaking to TOI, Deepali Singhee, Principal of J D Birla Institute said, “ Since the second half of last week, all the teachers have been coming to the college. Henceforth, they will be conducting online classes from the college
