Director Balaji K Kumar's Kolai is all about style, but has little substance. Heavily influenced by American murder mysteries, Kolai is distant in terms of both aesthetics and emotions.
Kolai First Review: Vijay Antony said, When telling the story, first he said three heroines.Then it became two. In it, Meenakshi was paired with another actor. Ritika is like a sister to me. They said I have only one wife. That character always fights with me. They keep me away from getting much romance in every film. I want justice. But, the film was a fun experience.
