(Mainichi/Koichi Uematsu) TOKUSHIMA Six prefectural government employees in west Japan were confirmed to have been infected with the coronavirus after attending a house party in late March, the Tokushima Prefectural Government announced on April 2. The six were among the 16 residents in their 10s to 90s whose COVID-19 infections were announced that same day. Of the 16, two in their 80s and 90s reportedly have moderate symptoms, while the remaining 14 are showing either minor or no symptoms. Another prefectural government worker, separate from the six, is included in the 16. Two of the seven employees worked at the Tokushima public health center in the prefectural capital until the end of March.
