Fulani community in Kogi have reportedly endorsed the candidature of Alhaji Usman Ododo of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Nov. 11 governorship election.

Hamza began his early education at L.S.M.B. Primary School, Gegu Beki where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate in 1978. He further secured admission to Government Technical College, Esie Iludun, Kwara State and passed the City and Guilds of London Institute in 1983.
A resident of the area, who preferred anonymity, said the incident happened around 9:00 am while the victims were on their way in a vehicle to harvest yam at the farm.
He said the kidnappers, armed to teeth suddenly appeared from the bush and flagged down the vehicle at gunpoint.
“It was even one of the brothers who was on his way to the neighbouring Tazenyi village that saw the vehicle by the road side with empty sacks and basins inside the vehicle that rushed back home to raise an alarm,” he said.
He said the family had mobilized to the scene to tow the vehicle back to the community, even as he said the family was yet to establish contact with the kidnappers.
