Fairfax County hospital technician accused of sexually assaulting patient after fake examination

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. - A Fairfax County hospital technician is charged with sexually assault after he performed an examination that included a patient’s genitals without authorization.
The victim reportedly believed Koga Contreras was authorized to perform the examination.
After the incident, the patient told a physician’s assistant of the examination – and the staff called the police.
Koga Contreras allegedly has no authorization or license to practice or provide medical treatment, police say.
On Tuesday, police charged him with aggravated sexual battery, and he was arrested in the town of Vienna on Thursday.

He was being held at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center with no bond set, according to Fair Oaks police. Police said they were notified by staff at Fair Oaks Hospital on April 18 after a patient said he received a physical examination from the man who provided him with his gown. The victim thought the man was authorized to perform the physical examination and mentioned it later to a physician assistant. Staff then contacted police.

Fair Oaks police say 25-year-old Yoshimi Koga Contreras of Gainesville was arrested Thursday and charged with aggravated sexual battery.
He was being held at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center with no bond set.
Police say Koga Contreras has worked since 2016 as a technician at Fair Oaks Hospital.
