A Hopkinsville man was arrested at around 9:50 a.m. Wednesday on alleged drug charges after being found asleep in his vehicle while at a gas station on LaFayette Road, according to a Hopkinsville Police Department report.
The report states police were called to 4200 LaFayette Road in reference to a man asleep in his vehicle at a gas pump.
Upon officersâ arrival, they found Robert S. Adamov, 27, Hopkinsville, asleep in his vehicle with it running at the gas pump.
Police then spoke with Adamov, who was allegedly acting nervous, startled, had pinpoint pupils, dry mouth, slurred speech and was reportedly looking around like he was lost, the report said.
A Hopkinsville man was charged with receiving stolen property after he was found with a trailer that had been reported stolen Wednesday night.
Hopkinsville Police say 42-year-old Jason Morse was found on Koffman Drive with an enclosed trailer that was reported stolen in Central City. Morse allegedly told police he had just bought the trailer from someone but had no paperwork and didn’t know the person’s name.
The serial number on the trailer was altered and hidden by a diamond plate. Morse is charged with receiving stolen property and tampering with physical evidence.
