Taito believed he should have won the last fight. “I think the judges were sleeping through the whole fight and woke up at the last round,” he joked. “For the last fight we only had a few weeks to prepare, which was not enough time for us. “John had a good camp and he s got good trainers around him.” The eight-round bout will be Taito’s second professional fight. He had 23 amateur fights for 19 wins. This will be the biggest fight he s had and he was keen to keep pushing up the ranks. “I definitely want to put myself up there. I want to make it to the top, that s one of my main goals.”
