The court convicted and jailed the fake Army General, Bolarinwa Abiodun, after he changed his plea from “not guilty” to “guilty” on all 13 charges of N266.5 million fraud on Thursday.
EFCC opened its case on Tuesday, with the complainant testifying on how the suspected fake army general allegedly defrauded him using Mr Obasanjo's name.
The court ordered the alleged remand of the fake Army General, Bolarinwa Abiodun, following his arraignment by the EFCC on 13 counts of fraud , forgery and other charges on Monday.
