Electronic is a British duo that might be considered a supergroup. Bernard Sumner (formerly of Joy Division and New Order) takes lead vocals and contributes keyboards, programming and other digital wizardry. Johnny Marr (guitarist with the Smiths) plays guitar and bass. The duo also collaborated and co-wrote many of their songs with the Pet Shop Boys and Karl Bartos of Kraftwerk.

The duo has released only three albums so far, with the most recent arriving back in 1999.
