Connect Bethany Miller joined KOAT 7 in June 2021. She comes to Albuquerque from Evansville, IN where she served as the Sports Director at WFIE 14 News for 3 years. In Indiana, she covered notable events such as the Indianapolis 500, the NCAA DII Men s Basketball tournament and plenty of high school football! Bethany also took over the 4 PM anchor desk in March 2020 after the COVID-19 pandemic began and canceled sports worldwide.
A graduate of the University of Alabama, Bethany is a die-hard Crimson Tide football fan! She graduated in December 2018 with a bachelor s degree in Telecommunication and Film. An intern at WVUA 23 News for 3 years, Bethany was versatile in the newsroom as a reporter, producer, and sports anchor. Her favorite memory from her time in Tuscaloosa was covering Alabama Football s 2018 National Championship run.

Angel Salcedo joins KOAT straight from Emerson College, in Boston Massachusetts. He graduated with a degree in Broadcast Journalism in May of 2021. He was the News Director of the schools news station, WEBN News, and the host of Good Morning Emerson for 3 years.
Angel grew up on the east coast, spending all of his life in the suburbs of Massachusetts. Now, he comes to New Mexico excited to learn everything the state has to offer.
Besides Journalism, Angel has a deep passion for the game of Golf! He’s enjoyed the game for 5 years now and plays off of Scratch. You can bet on him spending time on the Arroyo Del Oso Golf Course after the morning show!
