Mumbai: Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra has informed that her husband Raj Kundra, son Viaan, daughter Samisha, in-laws, and her mother, have tested positive for COVID. The actress, however, has tested negative for the virus.
She took to her social media and shared this piece of information through a note.
The 45-year-old actress shared that the past 10 days have been difficult for her and her family as everyone tested positive one after the other. She added that everyone from the family is following the official guidelines and doctor s advice.

GUWAHATI: The body recovered from the banks of Brahmaputra at Pandu was identified by family members on Thursday. River police recovered the body on May 5, and kept it at the morgue in GMCH (Guwahati Medical College & Hospital).
The deceased is Khargeswar Kalita (45 years) of Rampur under Palashbari Police Station.
According to Police, he was missing since May 3. On that very day, some residents of Pandu witnessed a person jumping into the river and informed Jalukbari Police.

Tezpur: As rest of India continues to struggle for a sufficient supply of oxygen, closer home, Assam appears geared up to handle any situation. While the state government has already taken steps to ensure an uninterrupted supply of oxygen to the state, Tezpur University is offering to provide empty oxygen cylinders available in its laboratories to nearby hospitals.
The registrar of the central university in a statement, said, In view of the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent shortage of oxygen cylinders, Tezpur University would like to support the health care services by providing them empty cylinders available in our laboratories. The cylinders are required by nearby hospitals for storing oxygen.

The ban was enforced in 10 of
Germany s federal states in the early hours of Wednesday, with around 1,000 officers conducting searches, according to the Ministry of the Interior (BMI).
Around 150,000 euros ($180,000) in cash have been seized so far, reports Xinhua news agency.
